Two additional office floors are being constructed on top of the Wars & Sawa department stores - floor III and floor IV.
The present development is the latest phase of modernisation works at Wars & Sawa department stores, aimed both at creating modern office space.

The new additional office section will be recessed in respect of the main facade line and will be constructed as a light-weight, glazed facade structure.

Glazed facades facing Marszałkowska Street will receive sun shades (shutters) to protect the office space against excessive sunlight and will at the same time form an additional architectural element, topping the building.

The office space within the new developed section of Wars & Sawa will be offered as offices for Wars & Sawa and Junior buildings' tenants.

The design for the extension work has been prepared by Dariusz Hyc and Henryk Łaguna of "maas s.c." architectural office.

Completion of the work is scheduled for the end of the year 2007. At present, the first section of the office space, on top of the Wars building, facing the Rotunda, has been completed.
